Services

Supervision

I believe that supervision is a collaborative process of support and learning. It is a protected time and space for you to reflect on your practice, develop your skills, knowledge, and creativity within a safe space.

As a supervisor in training I will off a space that is relational and grounded in the 7-Eyed Model of Supervision, which facilitates a exploration of the therapeutic process. I  will create a safe space for reflection, challenge and professional growth, while also encouraging an open dialogue. I recognise the unique experiences of each supervisee is crucial.  My aim is to help supervisees to navigate your own journey and blind spots, encouraging you to challenge your assumptions and develop an understanding of your own clients’ contexts.

Supervision Approach

Humanistic Intergrative Approach

Humanistic integrative counselling places emphasis on the therapeutic relationship between the counsellor and client. This approach recognises the significance of integrating the mind, body, emotions, soul, and spirit in order to promote holistic healing and growth.  Humanistic therapy provides a safe and accepting environment that is non-judgmental and encourages self-exploration.  The humanistic approach is based on the belief that human nature is fundamentally good, and that everyone has the potential to discover their own answers to their problems.

Theoretical Approach

Humanistic therapy, often referred to as the humanistic approach, encompasses various therapeutic modalities such as person-centred therapy, Gestalt therapy, existential therapy, solution-focused therapy, and transactional analysis. These different approaches share a common focus on the individual's unique experience, personal growth, and self-actualisation.

How can we work together?

I will work with you and support you in exploring the issues that are important to you. I will assist you in understanding your emotions and taking responsibility for your thoughts and actions.  It allows you to uncover your motivations and abilities, find your own solutions, and break free from unhelpful patterns of behaviour.  The therapeutic relationship between yourself and I is crucial in humanistic therapy. It is important for you to feel comfortable being open and transparent, exploring your emotions, and expressing yourself freely. I will offer empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard, accepting you as you are.

Costs

As a supervisor in training I am offering a lower cost session of £35 per hour.
